He graduated from the Moscow Art Theatre School (course of V. Markov) in 1969 and was admitted to the troupe of the Moscow Sovremennik Theatre.
Played in such performances as: The Lower Depths (Wasska Pepel), Pygmalion(Doolittle), Three Comrades (Alfons), Steep Route (Tsarevsky), Murlin Murlo (Michael) and others
Today in his repertoire: The Merry Wives of Windsor (Mr. Page) — in the Moscow Sovremennik Theatre.
In 2001 he was accepted into the troupe of the Moscow Art Theatre, where he played in performances: Zero (Ruda), The one who receives slaps in the face (Brikie), Tutish (Zafar).
Today in his repertoire: The Last Victim (Lavr Mironich Pribitkov), The White Guards (Hetman of all the Ukraine), Cat-and-Mouse (Victor Chermleny).
He teaches acting at Moscow Art Theatre School.
