He graduated from the Theatre School named after M. Schepkin in 1980 (course of V. Korshunov) and was accepted into the troupe of the Moscow Art Theatre.

Now playing in performances: „The Rose Tattoo” (Alvaro), „The White Guards” (Galanba), „The Cherry Orchard” (Chief of the station), „The New American”, „Oblomov” (Messenger).
He teaches acting at the Russian State University of Cinematography named after S. Gerasimov.
