Graduated Leningrad State Institute for Theatre, Music and Cinema in1962(course ofT.Soynikova).

Played inthe Leningrad Theatre ofMiniatures manage byArkady Raikin. In1963-1964 atthe Theatre ofDrama and Comedy.

In1964-1968and from 1970to1980 inthe Saint Petersburg Comedy Theatre. Among the notable works Vidoplyasov (“The Village ofStepanchikovo“), Volik Gora (“The Goose quill“), Bergamo (“The Romantics”), Piano („The Concert for?”), Narkiss („Hot heart”). From 1986to1994, played asolo performance “Byplay“ (improvisation on„The Government Inspector” byN.Gogol), aswell asinplays byA.Sokolova.

Since the late 1990's. played inSt.Petersburg's theatres: Tullius inthe “Marble” White Theatre, Adolf inthe “Father“ (premium „Golden Sofit”, 1998, “Golden Mask”, 2000), Neschastlivtsev in“The Wood” (1998), Orsino in“Twelfth Night” (2003) Tovstonogov Great Drama Theatre; Shmuel Sprol in“Lost inthe Stars“- St.Petersburg Theatre „OnLiteiny”.

In1995, heplayed Argan in“The Imaginary Invalid“ (Moscow Theatre named after M.Yermolova). Composed and performed the play-improvisation “How things change.“

Inthe Chekhov Moscow Art Theatre plays Gaev inthe performance “The Cherry Orchard“ directed byAdolf Shapiro.

Winner ofawards international theatre festivals.

Acted insuch films as: “About Love”, „The Fountain”, „Window toParis”, „Russian Ark” and others.
