Action of performance is transferred to the beginning of XX century with its refined modernist style, “new” businessmen, noisy clubs and fashionable entertainment — cinema. Here life appears in all its magnificent and exciting variety.
Constant at any time remains a main thing — hard knot of human fates where the love and treachery, passion and self-interest, cold calculation and faultless fidelity are tied up.
