, Alexander D. Borovsky
A native of Kiev, Ukraine, Alexander Borovsky studied at the Moscow Art Theater School. He has created sets for more than 70 productions at the Sovremennik Moscow Theatre, the Tabakov Theatre, the Mayakovsky Theatre, the Satire Theatre, the Moscow Arts Theatre, and the Maly Theatre. He has also worked in film and television, and he has created sets for circus programs. He is the chief set designer at the Meyerhold Theater Center in Moscow.
